I'm Toma — I build one training system out of three disciplines, so you get stronger without breaking down, and recover without losing progress.
I'm Toma — a certified personal trainer working online with clients who want results that last, not just a hard workout to post about.
My own training journey moved through heavy strength work, pilates-based control training, and rehab from injury — and I kept noticing the same gap: most programs pick one lane and ignore the others. Strength coaches overload bodies that aren't ready. Pilates instructors build control but skip load. Rehab specialists fix the injury and stop there.
I built RestartBodyLab to close that gap — a system where strength, control, and recovery work together instead of competing.
Progressive resistance training to build muscle, power, and a body that can handle real life — programmed to match your actual recovery capacity, not a generic split.
Core stability, breath, and precise movement patterns that make every strength rep safer and more efficient — the layer most training programs skip entirely.
Movement screening and corrective work that finds weak links before they become injuries — so progress doesn't get interrupted by a setback.
We talk through why you want to start training, your history, any injuries or limitations, and your schedule — no pressure, just figuring out if it's a good fit and where to begin.
Before your first session, I'll ask you to send a few photos so I can assess your posture and movement patterns. This lets me see what your body actually needs before we start loading it.
Based on your assessment, I design a personal training plan blending strength, pilates, and rehab work in the ratio your body actually needs right now — not a generic template.
We train together live over video call, and I adjust the program as you progress — strength goes up, risk stays low.
No. The system adapts to where you're starting from, whether that's your first ever session or you're returning after years away.
That's a big part of what this method is built for. We start with a movement assessment so training works around your injury, not against it. For anything serious, I'll ask you to clear it with your doctor first.
Yes! All sessions run live over video call. We train via Google Meet, WhatsApp, FaceTime, or any other platform that's convenient for you — we'll agree on what works best during your free consult.
We'll work this out together in your free consultation based on what you already have. That said, I often recommend a few basics: a balance/blood test mat, a tennis ball or massage ball for foot work, and Franklin Method balls. Almost all of these can be found on Amazon or in any sports shop — none of it is expensive or hard to get.
